Launch of Sorgenia Green, new company focusing on renewables
Highlights
- 130,000 visitors to the EcoPensiero blog, developed by Sorgenia and dedicated to energy efficiency and sustainable development issues (Source: Sorgenia Annual Report 2010)
- Generation from renewable sources at Sorgenia rose by 43% compared to 2009 (rising from 280 gigawatt-hours to over 400 GWh), thus avoiding the emission of 181,604 tonnes of CO2 that would have been generated by a similar production from traditional sources (Source: Sorgenia Annual Report 2010)
