Sorgenia to bring energy efficiency into schools

The new schools project “Sensible Generating. A search for efficiency!” for primary and lower secondary schools has been launched in Lombardy and certain provinces of the Campania and Lazio regions. The initiative is promoted by Sorgenia and aims to increase the awareness of younger generations and their families of how to make better use of energy resources. The project will involve approximately 5,000 classes of 5,500 primary and secondary schools in the Lombardy region and the provinces of Rome, Frosinone, Rieti, Benevento and Salerno. In addition, Sorgenia is also offering another new project “Sorgenia for schools” to families and people living in the areas involved. Consumers who sign up for electricity with Sorgenia will receive points that will enable the school of their choice to receive teaching materials, consumables or services free of charge.
