Milan Marathon: CIR “runs” for the Laureus Foundation
Two teams sponsored by the CIR group ran the 42 kilometres of the Milan Relay Marathon to support the projects and initiatives of the Laureus Foundation, the charity that since 2005 has been devoted to solving problem situations of young people through sporting activities and providing them with educational and psychological support. The Milan Relay Marathon, the third edition of which took place on April 15, is a non-competitive event consisting of a relay marathon with teams of four people taking part. This initiative strengthens the link between the Laureus Foundation and CIR. Rodolfo De Benedetti, chief executive of the group, has supported the activities of the Foundation for some time and is also on its board of directors.
