Cairo Montenotte and Sorgenia agree on local photovoltaic solutions and energy efficiency

The local Council of Cairo Montenotte (Savona) has signed an agreement with Sorgenia to build small-scale photovoltaic panels for installation of the roofs of houses and small business facilities free of charge. The full cost of the investment will be met by Sorgenia and those who sign up for the scheme will become producers of renewable energy with a saving of up to 50% on their electricity bills. The agreement also involves energy saving action that Sorgenia  will take on public lighting in the area and for the residents taking part in the initiative. Sorgenia also undertakes to put forward the same proposal to the other 17 local councils of the Valbormida area.
