Operational Risks

The risk analysis and evaluation model of the CIR group is based on guidelines defined by its highest levels of management. They are based upon strategic plans, system developments, budgeting and risk exposure. At least once a year the company carries out a detailed analysis of events that could significantly influence expected performances and identifies their possible  economic impact. This analysis allows the company to identify risk-mitigation through appropriate action plans whose effectiveness and realization is periodically checked by control bodies.

The group has specifically identified recurring risk areas: organizational and reputational, factors which could have an impact upon subsidiaries’ results, management of financial assets. These aspects are evaluated and monitored in terms of their impact upon:
  • various current/future scenarios including economic, demographic, environmental, competitive, legislative and technological;
  • reputational loss;
  • governance and organizational changes;
  • missed targets;
  • financial positions.
