Salvatore Ricco

Group Communication

Salvatore Ricco has been the Director of Communication of the CIR Group since February 2009. From May 2004 to January 2009 he worked for the Pirelli Group where he was in charge of the corporate press office. Between 2002 and 2004 he worked as press officer for an international communication agency (Ketchum) and for an Italian Information Technology company (SIA-SSB).

Previously he worked as a freelance journalist for il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor and did an internship in the press office of the European Parliament in Brussels. Born in Grottaglie (Taranto) on May 15 1976, he graduated in Political Science from the University of Bari in 2000 and was awarded a Master’s Degree in International Relations by the University of Padua in 2001.

He is a member of the Italian Association of Journalists.
