Francesco Dini

Group Public and Economic Affairs

Francesco Dini has been Director of Public and Economic Affairs for the CIR Group since March 2004. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso, Deputy Chairman and Executive of Elemedia (radio and internet activities of Gruppo Editoriale l'Espresso) and an Executive Director of Rete A (radio and television activities of Gruppo Editoriale l'Espresso). He is also an Executive Director of Sorgenia, Sorgenia Holding, Deputy Chairman and Executive of Sorgenia Power (the production activities of the Sorgenia Group) and Director with executive functions of Sorgenia France.

Previously he was Director of Institutional Relations for the CIR Group from 1999 to 2004 and prior to that he worked for the Fininvest Group from 1991 onwards, holding various positions in the sphere of institutional relations for Mediaset , the Standa-Euromercato Group and for Fininvest Communications.

With a high school diploma in classical studies, he graduated in Modern Letters from the University of Florence and obtained a Master's Degree in Managerial Development from the LUISS University in Rome where his studies included Communications and the use of Images.

He is a Director of ADS (Accertamento Diffusione Stampa) and Audiriadio, he is a memeber of the Executive Committee and Director Responsible for Multimedia Convergence of the Italian Federation of Newspaper Publishers.
Since 2006 he has represented the CIR Group as an associate memeber of the European Round Table of Industrialists.
