Revenues are split between circulation (slightly more than 30% of the total in 2009), advertising sales (about 56%) and add-on products (about 13% of the total). In terms of circulation, Espresso group newspapers (La Repubblica and local newspapers) are leaders in Italy with a 17% share of the national market (Italian Federation of Newspaper Publishers data for circulation of paid newspapers in 2009).
