Sogefi is the world’s second-biggest producer of suspension components by sales and the No. 5 company for filters. Filters represented 50.2% of group sales in 2010 with suspension components accounting for the remaining 49.8%. The company is leader in both these products areas in South America. In Europe, Sogefi is the biggest operator in suspension components and it is leader in filtration specifically in the after-sales market. The company has announced its interest to grow in new markets, in particular in India and China. In 2010 Sogefi’s main market was Mercosur (24% of sales), followed by France (22%) and Germany (13%). Italy is its No. 5 market after United Kingdom (9% of sales).
