Sogefi, founded by CIR in 1980 and  listed on the Milan Stock Exchange (STAR segment) is the parent company of a group operating in automotive components, specializing and among the world leaders in two product lines: filters and flexible suspension components. Sogefi is a partner to the most important car manufacturers in the world. The company has a global presence on 3 continents and 13 countries, with 50 offices of which 39 have production facilities. Leader in its core business in Europe and South America, Sogefi is active in the original equipment market, and in the original and independent replacement market. In 2009 the Sogefi group reported revenues of 781 million euro, of which 49% were from the filter sector and 51% from the suspension components sector. EBITDA, after restructuring charges of 17.2 million euro, amounted to 47.2 million euros and net loss was 7.6 million euros.
